Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

At FORTUNETEC, we believe furniture is more than a product—it's part of your home and your life.
If anything falls short of your expectations, we are committed to resolving it promptly, clearly, and responsibly.

Below is our complete policy on returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

We understand that furniture requires time to place and evaluate, so we offer a generous return window to ensure peace of mind.

2. Eligible Returns

To qualify for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

Unused and unassembled

Free from stains, scratches, odors, or damage

Original packaging intact, including all internal padding, manuals, and hardware

In clean, resalable condition

In short: the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

Clearance or final-sale items

Used, assembled, or installed products

Items missing original packaging or essential parts

Items showing signs of wear, damage, or misuse

Customized or personalized items

4. How to Request a Return

(Return Authorization Required)

To request a return, please:

  1. Email us at fortunetec@fortunetec-us.com

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return

  3. Include photos or videos of the item and its packaging

Our team will review your request within 2–4 business days.
If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number along with detailed instructions.

Important: Unauthorized Returns Will Not Be Accepted

Returning an item without prior authorization or an RA number may result in:

The package not being processed

No refund or exchange being issued

The package being rejected, lost, or untraceable

All resulting costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
This process ensures accurate tracking and protects your rights.

5. Return Shipping Costs

We cover return shipping if:

The wrong item was shipped

The product is defective

The item was damaged during transit

You are responsible for return shipping if:

The return is due to personal preference (color, size, style, change of mind)

The exchange is not related to a product defect

If you choose your own carrier, please use a trackable shipping service.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds:

Are issued to the original payment method

Are processed within 3–5 business days after inspection

May take an additional 3–7 business days depending on your bank or card issuer

Possible Refund Deductions

Refunds may be partially reduced if:

Original packaging is damaged

Accessories or hardware are missing

The item shows signs of use or assembly

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility

Any adjustment will be clearly communicated before processing.

7. Exchanges

You may request an exchange within 30 days if the item remains in resalable condition.

Price differences may apply for different models or colors

For quality-related issues, we cover all costs and ship the replacement directly

Exchange Authorization Required

All exchanges require an RA number. Unauthorized returns may not be processed and could result in non-refundable costs.

8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

Damaged

Missing parts

Incorrect

Please contact us within 72 hours of delivery and provide:

Photos or videos of the issue

Photos of the packaging

Your order number

We will offer one of the following solutions:

Free replacement parts

A full replacement if repair is not possible

A full refund if the item is unavailable

Our goal is to resolve issues quickly so you can enjoy your furniture with confidence.

9. Order Cancellation & Payment Processing Fees

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase

Orders that have already shipped must follow the standard return process

Payment Processing Fee Notice

If an order is canceled or refunded, PayPal or other third-party payment providers may charge a non-refundable transaction processing fee equal to 5.4% of the original order amount.

This fee is charged directly by the payment provider to maintain payment channel stability

FORTUNETEC does not collect, retain, or profit from this fee in any way

The fee is deducted strictly on an actual-cost basis, with clear records and traceability

We are committed to full transparency and only pass through fees imposed by the payment platform itself.

10. Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order is missing hardware, parts, or includes an incorrect item, please notify us within 72 hours.
We will ship replacements free of charge.
